After David and I wrote the Eseke Creed, I wanted to find a way to be intentional about teaching our family values to our kids in age-appropriate ways. But, intentionality takes forethought and most days, I don’t have the margin to think ahead when it comes to weighty things like character development.
Too many times, I’ve recognized awesome teachable moments after-the-fact. Or drawn a blank when I’m trying to think of the perfect bible verse to recite to drive home a discipline moment. I often wish I had a great children’s book on hand to help illustrate a topic that come up with my kids in the car that day.
So I made myself (and you!) a cheat sheet. One for each value, like humility, generosity, leadership, etc. (They’ll be 30+ of them when I’m finished!)
